PRODUCTION & DELIVERY POLICY
This Production & Delivery Policy forms part of our Terms & Conditions and applies to all orders placed with Kimjoux Ltd.
1. Production
All Kimjoux jewellery is crafted with care. As many of our pieces are made to order, production timelines vary depending on the item purchased.
Production will begin within 4 working days of order confirmation.
1.1 Ready-to-Buy Items
- If the item is in stock, it will typically be dispatched within 2–3 working days
- If engraving or personalisation is added, production may take up to 8 working days
1.2 Customised Jewellery
- All customised jewellery is made to order
- Production time is typically 5–7 weeks
1.3 Bespoke Commissions
- Fully bespoke pieces are designed and created to your specific requirements
- Production will take a minimum of 6 weeks, depending on design complexity and the sourcing of materials and gemstones
We will keep you informed of your order’s progress throughout production.
If you require your jewellery by a specific date, please contact us at hello@kimjoux.com before placing your order. While we will do our best to accommodate requests, timelines cannot be guaranteed.
You may also include any specific instructions at checkout in the “Extra Comment” box.
2. Delivery
All delivery timeframes are estimates only and are calculated from the point of dispatch (not order date).
We will notify you when your order has been dispatched and provide tracking information where available.
2.1 United Kingdom
- Delivery within the UK is free for orders under £2,500
- Orders are shipped using tracked and signed delivery services (such as Royal Mail or FedEx)
- Estimated delivery time: 1–3 working days after dispatch
2.2 International Delivery
We ship internationally using trusted courier services.
Estimated delivery times:
- United States & Europe: 7–10 working days
- Rest of the world: up to 15 working days
Express delivery options (typically 3–5 working days) may be available at checkout, depending on destination.
Delivery times may vary due to customs processing and local conditions.
3. Customs, Duties and Taxes
For international orders:
- Import duties, taxes and customs charges are not included in the purchase price or shipping cost
- These charges are the responsibility of the customer
- Customs clearance may cause delays which are outside our control
4. Delivery Responsibility
We are responsible for your order until it has been successfully delivered to the address provided at checkout.
Once delivery has been completed (and signed for where applicable), responsibility for the item passes to you.
You are responsible for:
- providing accurate delivery information
- ensuring the parcel can be safely received
5. Delays
While we aim to meet all stated production and delivery timelines, delays may occur due to:
- production complexity
- availability of materials
- courier delays
- customs processing
We are not liable for delays outside our reasonable control.
